Repurposing

I went to a lot of weddings last year. One per month, to be exact, April – October. At these weddings I realized that repurposing was a theme, from flower vases to seating cards. Repurposing is not only a great way to save money, it’s not only eco-friendly, but it’s also a great way to add that antique charm so many of us love, myself included. Here are a few clever repurposing tricks!

top notch repurposing

1. Ladder as a leaning bookshelf   2. Wine bottles for vases   3. Soup cans for pencil holders (have fun painting them with the kids, just make sure the edges aren’t sharp!)   4. You don’t need photos, or even the glass, to hang frames! The wood will give your space a sense of texture, and you can paint them to use as a color pop or to blend your mismatched decor.

The possibilities are endless. Have fun being creative and seeing old items in new ways!
